Wright Academy:
Estate Planning Mentorship for Oklahoma Attorneys
A structured estate planning mentorship program for attorneys committed to building or refining a high-level estate planning practice and expanding into more complex areas of practice.
Accelerate your path with an estate planning mentorship
Estate planning is best learned through experience, including complex client conversations, drafting and revising plans, and seeing how those plans function over time. Developing meaningful experience in estate planning is often slower and less structured than most attorneys expect.
Seminars, CLE courses, and drafting tools can provide useful frameworks, but they can’t teach the judgment that comes from years of practicing estate planning law. Things like:
- The issues and conversations that surface in real cases
- The questions clients don’t know to ask
- The risk analysis behind planning decisions
- The practical realities of handling probate and adult guardianship matters
Wright Academy is a limited access estate planning mentorship designed to accelerate the development of a high-level estate planning practice by condensing years of experience into a customized program. Whether you are transitioning into estate planning or expanding an existing practice, the focus is on building depth of knowledge with thoughtful guidance.
A message from Jennifer Wright
In my early years of practice, I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to develop true competence in estate planning without meaningful guidance. Mentorship was limited, and while continuing legal education was available, it often left critical questions unanswered.
Today, the path to opening a law firm is more accessible than ever, yet many attorneys find themselves practicing estate planning without the depth of experience or support necessary to do the work with confidence and precision.
Estate planning is an area of law where mistakes are not always immediately visible. But when they surface, the consequences can be significant and impact families at the most vulnerable times. In many cases, those consequences cannot be reversed.
This estate planning mentorship was created to provide what is too often missing: thoughtful guidance, practical insight, and a commitment to practicing at a high level.
Mentorship grounded in real practice
Estate planning requires more than technical knowledge — it requires the ability to anticipate outcomes, evaluate competing risks, and guide clients through decisions with long-term consequences.
A structured estate planning mentorship provides the opportunity to develop that level of analysis through direct engagement with an experienced estate planning attorney, rather than through trial and error.
Our work together in Wright Academy will focus on how experienced practitioners think. The focus is not on producing documents more efficiently, but on developing the judgment required to produce them well. Mentorship sessions will explore:
- How issues arise and evolve in real cases
- How to analyze and prioritize competing risks
- How to move beyond basic templates to intentional, comprehensive planning
- How to advise clients with clarity and professional confidence
This is not co-counseling or unlimited access — it is a structured, focused mentorship designed to strengthen independent judgment and professional capability.
Participation is intentionally limited
The Wright Academy estate planning mentorship program is designed for attorneys who want to build or refine a practice grounded in thoughtful, high-quality work. Participation is intentionally limited to maintain a high level of engagement and individualized attention.

About your mentor
Jennifer Wright, founder of Wright Law Firm, has built a respected practice focused on estate planning, special needs planning, probate, and guardianship. Her work is grounded in practical application, careful analysis, and long-term outcomes for the families she serves.
She has seen firsthand the difference that thoughtful planning — and the lack of it — can make, both for attorneys and for the people relying on their work.
Her approach to mentorship reflects the same standard she brings to her legal practice: careful thinking, disciplined analysis, and a commitment to doing the work well.
Through this estate planning mentorship, she works with a limited number of attorneys who are committed to developing their practice at a higher level.
